Bill DiPaolo has been collecting and studying the Prexie series for over 25 years, specializing in the coils. His exhibit on the Prexie coils has won Grand Awards. He also exhibits the 15c Prexie. He is active philatelically as an accredited literature judge, member of APS’ CANEJ committee and wears a number of hats on the committee of the Sarasota National Stamp Expo and is President of the Collectors Club of Sarasota. He has written a number of articles about the Presidential series and recently the United States Possessions Philatelic Society published his book, Puerto Rico During the Spanish American War, A Postal History Study.
